Based near Dover, Gaya is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience across both the NHS and private sector. She currently covers a client base across Kent, visiting clients in areas such as Folkestone, Canterbury, Margate, and Ashford. She specialises in Neurological Rehabilitation having achieved her MSc in the subject in 2012. Gaya has a breadth of experience in a range of neurological settings and with various neurological conditions including Traumatic Brain Injury, Acquired Brain Injury, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Post Concussive Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and Motor Neurone Disease.

Gaya uses an eclectic, person centred approach to maximise rehabilitation potential and to meet individuals' aspirations and needs. She strongly advocates evidenced based rehabilitation and covers various areas including Postural and Seating Management, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Upper Limb Rehabilitation, and Vocational Rehabilitation. She consistently uses patient centred, function orientated goals and sensitive outcome measures to demonstrate clients’ progress.

Gaya regularly updates her knowledge and skills with the current clinical research and evidence for Neuro Rehabilitation interventions. Gaya is flexible in her approach and very time efficient with her work with a great eye for details.
