Rachael

Located in Bedfordshire, Rachael covers a large client base across East Anglia and the South East of England including Essex, London, and Hertfordshire. She provides specialist assessments for her clients, drawing upon her expertise in Housing & Equipment and Rehabilitation. Rachael has worked in a range of acute settings, supporting clients with physical and neurological conditions such as reduced mobility, cognitive impairment, fractures, strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, MS, and Huntingdon’s disease.

Rachael has completed specific training in the assessment and management of neurological conditions including assessing upper limb function, sensation, vision and cognition and participation in activities of daily living. Rachael develops a goal orientated treatment plan with the client, aiming to improve their quality of life and overall independence. She can recommend equipment including specialist seating, environmental aids, and moving and handling apparatus.

Rachael is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists’ Specialist Sections in Older Persons and Neurological Practice. She is a qualified Best Interests Assessor (BIA) and has comprehensive knowledge surrounding the Mental Capacity Act 2016. She has also completed post graduate training in Bobath techniques.
