Aminah

Aminah is an Occupational Therapist working across the South East of England, specialising in Moving and Handling as well as Functional Rehabilitation. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with a wide range of conditions, including Neurological Conditions, Brain and Spinal Injuries, Orthopaedic Trauma, and Progressive Illnesses such as Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. Aminah also provides expert care for individuals managing fatigue, anxiety, depression, and various physical and cognitive challenges. Her focus is on promoting independence, improving daily living skills, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Since qualifying with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University in 2017, Aminah has developed extensive expertise in acute rehabilitation, functional assessments, and equipment provision. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, which strengthens her understanding of mental health and motivational issues. Her clinical experience spans emergency care, palliative care, oncology, haematology, trauma, orthopaedics, and frailty, allowing her to provide comprehensive, client-centred assessments.
