Janette

Covering North West England and North Wales, Janette is a highly experienced Hand Therapist specialising in the assessment and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper limb. With expertise in both acute and chronic conditions, she works with individuals experiencing osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, hypermobility, POTS, chronic regional pain syndrome, and a range of soft tissue injuries and fractures. She also provides rehabilitation for complex cases such as MCP joint replacements, finger PIP joint fusion, wrist fusion trapeziectomy, and tendon injuries. Janette’s holistic approach ensures that patients receive tailored treatment to maximise function, reduce pain, and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 1995, Janette has amassed 30 decades of experience within the NHS, working across mental health and physical health settings. She has specialised in rheumatology, adult neurology, palliative care, and hand therapy. For the past decade, she has focused exclusively on hand therapy, a field she finds deeply rewarding. Her adaptability allows her to provide care in a variety of settings, including hospital wards, outpatient clinics, and patients' homes.
