Amber is a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in supporting children and young people with a wide range of learning needs. Based in the South East of England, she has extensive experience working with conditions such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down’s Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and Social-Emotional Challenges. Amber’s work focuses on delivering individualised, evidence-based interventions designed to promote the wellbeing, independence, and educational success of each child or young person.
In addition to her work in paediatrics, Amber is skilled in conducting autism assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective intervention strategies. She works closely with schools and parents to provide a range of universal, targeted, and specialist provisions that best meet the needs of children and young people.
Amber graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2014 and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as well as the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. She is an active member of the RCOT's Independent Practitioners Group and the Children, Young People, and Families Group, which connects professionals throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
