Alyssa is an experienced Occupational Therapist based in the West and South West of England, including London, Devon and Somerset, specialising in Functional Rehabilitation, Moving and Handling, and Neurological Rehabilitation. She has a proven track record of supporting individuals recovering from neurological conditions such as Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and various Cognitive and Motor Impairments. Her expertise extends to addressing complex rehabilitation needs, including fatigue management, gross and fine motor skills, dexterity and handwriting difficulties, postural management, home adaptations, visual perception, balance and coordination, planning and execution of activities, and self-care tasks such as grooming, washing, dressing, and feeding.

Alyssa holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Elmhurst University, is HCPC-registered in the UK, and board-certified in the US. Since 2019, Alyssa has worked across the public health and private rehabilitation sectors in the UK, building expertise in managing complex manual handling situations and providing tailored interventions to support recovery. She works closely with both patients and their families, providing personalised rehabilitation plans that integrate evidence-based techniques and patient-centred care.

Alyssa leverages her in-depth understanding of neuroplasticity and adaptive strategies to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. Her collaborative approach promotes functional recovery, empowering patients in their daily activities and work-related skills, including cognitive retraining and return-to-work support.
