Paediatric Occupational Therapist Mary works with children and young people with conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, Neurological and Genetic Conditions, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Trauma, Global Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties, Anxiety, and Depression. Serving the South East of England and Oxfordshire, Mary specialises in routine planning, daily living skills, gross and fine motor skills, handwriting assessment and treatment, visual perception, balance, coordination, and self-care.

With a Master's degree from Oxford Brookes University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, Mary has worked with young people aged 3 months to 19 years across the NHS and private sectors. She provides tailored support in community, home, and school environments, offering assessments using both standardised and non-standardised tools to meet individual needs.

Mary is passionate about advocacy and actively collaborates with young people, their families, and educational staff to enhance participation in meaningful activities. Her expertise extends to writing comprehensive reports, including EHCPs and annual reviews, ensuring that her clients receive the support they need for their development and wellbeing.

Mary has further enhanced her expertise through courses in Sensory Attachment Intervention Foundation Training and Introduction to Sensory Integration Difficulties for Schools. She is committed to ongoing professional growth, continually advancing her clinical knowledge to provide the highest quality of care. Her approach is centred on empowering children and families to achieve meaningful progress, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life.
