Claire

Claire is an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with expertise in Housing and Equipment, Seating and Postural Management, Functional Rehabilitation, Moving and Handling, and Paediatrics. Based in Cheshire, she specialises in supporting individuals across a wide range of conditions, including Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Batten Disease, Cancer, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia, Stroke, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Epilepsy, and Meniere’s Disease.

Having qualified in 2018 with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Salford, earning First Class Honours, Claire’s practice focuses on enhancing independence and wellbeing through tailored assessments and interventions for adults, children, and elderly individuals. Her extensive experience includes over a decade in acute care settings, covering trauma, orthopaedics, medicine, surgery, and stroke rehabilitation. A specialist in paediatric and young adult oncology, Claire has worked in world-renowned centres of excellence and has supported families through legal settlements to achieve optimal independence.

Claire has made significant contributions to professional knowledge through her published work in RCOT News and the RCOT Magazine. She also plays an active role in advancing the field by collaborating on RCOT’s annual campaign.
