Sian is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 20 years in the field. Her specialisms include Vocational Rehabilitation, Housing and Equipment, Functional Rehabilitation, and Moving and Handling. Sian has worked with a diverse range of conditions, including Neurological Conditions (such as MS and MND), Genetic Conditions (including Muscular Dystrophy and Dwarfism), Cancer, Physical Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and Frailty. Sian covers the South of England, including Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Swindon, and West Sussex.
Throughout her career, Sian has worked across various sectors, including the NHS, social care, and academia. These roles have given her valuable insights that she now combines to assist her clients effectively. Sian’s expertise includes the assessment and provision of equipment for activities of daily living, reasonable adjustments in the workplace, return-to-work support, and managing major adaptations to both domestic and commercial properties. She is also experienced in creating and demonstrating safe moving and handling plans to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
Sian is dedicated to ongoing professional development, keeping up with the latest industry regulations and technological advancements. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Exeter University and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is also an active member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
