Whitney works primarily with adults and older adults across the East Anglia region, including Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, and Peterborough. She is a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Moving and Handling, Housing and Equipment, and Functional Rehabilitation. Whitney is passionate about helping individuals in their own homes reach their full potential, ensuring that their environments fulfil their specific needs.
Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist from Northampton University in 2014, Whitney has extensive experience in both acute psychiatric inpatient care and community settings, assessing complex moving and handling cases, providing specialist equipment, and designing recommendations for both major and minor adaptations. Additionally, she offers expertise in environmental controls and assistive technology, empowering clients to maintain their independence within their homes and communities.
Whitney maintains her professional registrations as a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapy and the HCPC through ongoing training, supervision, and reflective practice. She has completed MOHO training and has delivered presentations, including one on the implementation of the Model of Creative Ability on a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at The OT Show.
