Laura is a BOBATH-trained Occupational Therapist specialising in Functional Rehabilitation, Housing and Equipment, and Moving and Handling. She offers her services across the East Midlands and East Anglia, covering areas such as Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire. With a wealth of experience working with a wide range of conditions, Laura has particular expertise in Neuro-degenerative Conditions, Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Co-morbidity Dementia, COPD, and Long-COVID. She is passionate about helping individuals reach their true potential, enabling them to live independently and improve their quality of life through tailored, person-centred interventions.
Laura graduated from Coventry University in 2011 with first-class honours and her expertise extends across elderly frail rehabilitation, proactive care, falls management, posture and positioning, and providing equipment and adaptations to maximise independence in daily activities. Laura also has extensive experience in cognitive assessments, identifying cognitive decline, and providing strategies to support long-term conditions.
Being an occupational therapist is a central part of Laura’s life. She is dedicated to continually enhancing her skills and regularly engages in professional development through supervision, peer support, and formal training. She is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and values the resources they provide to help maintain the highest standards of care.
