Isobel

Isobel is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist specialising in Paediatrics, based in the South of England, particularly covering Dorset and Southampton. She works with children with a diverse range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Isobel’s expertise encompasses enhancing fine and gross motor skills, manual dexterity, balance, and coordination, as well as addressing sensory integration and processing difficulties. Additionally, Isobel supports children in developing essential life skills, such as cooking, dressing, and personal care tasks, while fostering independence and problem-solving abilities.

Isobel has experience in conducting assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and is currently completing her CLASI certification in Ayres Sensory Integration intervention. She is proficient in implementing the Interoception Curriculum and Zones of Regulation to help children understand their emotions. Her collaborative approach involves working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring she partners with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients. She is passionate about creating engaging and enjoyable therapy experiences tailored to each child's unique needs, promoting their potential and independence through functional and collaborative goal-setting.
