Caroline is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist specialising in Paediatrics and Neurological Rehabilitation, with a strong focus on supporting children and young adults with neurological conditions. Based in Greater London, Caroline works with a wide range of conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Genetic Conditions, Handwriting and Fine Motor Difficulties, Sensory Integration Challenges, Developmental Delays, and Self-care Difficulties.
Caroline qualified in 2015 from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, specialising in Paediatric and Adult Neurological Disorders, which she completed at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020. After moving to the UK in 2020, Caroline has gained experience in various settings, including a special needs school for learners with complex needs and NHS adult neuro-rehabilitation centres. She is also a qualified Sensory Integration Practitioner, having completed this certification in 2023.
With almost a decade of clinical experience, Caroline is proficient in conducting comprehensive assessments, providing tailored interventions, and recommending the most appropriate equipment for both adults and children. She is recognised for her excellent communication skills and her ability to build supportive, trusting relationships with clients and their families, ensuring that care is personalised and effectively delivered. Caroline is HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
