Harriet is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in housing and equipment, moving and handling, seating and postural management, and functional rehabilitation. She serves the South East England and London regions, focusing on elderly patients with a range of conditions. Harriet conducts comprehensive assessments of mobility, transfers, kitchen and bathroom mobility, ensuring her patients' safety and independence. In her work at a community hospital, she ensures older adults have the necessary therapy and equipment to remain safe at home post-discharge. This includes prescribing assistive technology and equipment related to seating and posture, fall prevention, property access (rails and ramps). Her experience has deepened her commitment to a person-centred and transparent approach to care.

In her NHS role, Harriet gained extensive experience through a variety of rotations including Trauma & Orthopaedics, Elderly Care and Stroke. This diverse background allowed her to develop proficiency in various standardised and non-standardised assessments, including the Oxford Cognitive Screen Tool and Addenbrooke’s Cognitive Examination. These tools, combined with her focus on functional ability, cognition, sensory processing, and motor skills, enable Harriet to form a holistic understanding of each patient’s abilities and to develop individualised treatment plans.

Harriet is registered with the British Association of Occupational Therapists, the Health & Care Professions Council, and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

Harriet is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
