Lisa is an advanced occupational therapist with over 24 years of experience, specialising in stroke medicine and rehabilitation within the NHS. She has extensive experience working with patients with a wide range of conditions, including acquired brain injuries (such as stroke, subdural haematoma, and subarachnoid haemorrhages), dementia, neurological conditions like Parkinson’s and Guillain-Barre Syndrome, metabolic conditions such as diabetes, autoimmune disorders including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and conditions common in older adults.

As a team lead for 16 years in a Birmingham stroke team, Lisa has been instrumental in stroke rehabilitation and has developed expertise in upper limb rehabilitation, cognitive assessments, treatment plans, and daily living assessments. She also provides education and advice on fatigue management, stress management, and technology-based rehabilitation. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Stroke Medicine, Lisa is known for her reliability, hard work, and excellent communication skills.
