Sylvia

Sylvia is an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in comprehensive assessments, including rehabilitation, moving and handling, housing and equipment, seating, and activities of daily living. She is passionate about helping adults and older people in North London and Hertfordshire live more independent and fulfilling lives. Her expertise also extends to Mental Capacity Assessments, working with adult and elderly patients to ensure they receive the appropriate care and support.

With over a decade of experience across diverse health and social care settings, Sylvia has built a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in occupational therapy. She is committed to delivering high-quality care and continuously improves her professional competencies by maintaining a development portfolio. A member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), she remains updated on the latest advancements in her field.

In her role as an Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist, Sylvia broadened her knowledge by completing adapted rehousing reports, as well as evaluating and recommending essential daily living equipment. She is proficient in suggesting and overseeing minor and major adaptations, such as the installation of stair lifts, ramps, and level access shower facilities.
