Liz

Liz is an expert Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in Housing and Equipment, Seating and Postural Management, Functional Rehabilitation, and Moving and Handling. She treats a wide variety of conditions, including Frailty, Physical Disabilities, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Amputations, Fibromyalgia, Visual Impairments, Dementia, Motor Neurone Disease and Arthritis. Liz provides services across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and Monmouthshire.

Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2001, Liz began her career in an acute hospital setting before transitioning to a comprehensive role in community services. Throughout her extensive career, Liz has honed specialist skills in Housing Adaptations, including Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs), Equipment Assessment, Moving and Handling, and Seating and Postural Management. Her work is deeply focused on Activities of Daily Living and Occupational Performance, enabling individuals to remain independent at home and engaged in meaningful activities.

Liz’s experience also extends to Reablement, providing advice and education, and collaborating with other professionals. Her attention to detail supports robust clinical reasoning and decision-making, ensuring optimal outcomes for her clients.

A member of the British Geriatrics Society, RCOT Specialist Section for Older People and Independent Practice, Liz is committed to continuous professional development, regularly participating in ongoing learning opportunities. She is registered with HCPC and BAOT.
