Occupational Therapy BSc (hons)
Jo is a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with almost two decades of experience of working as an Occupational Therapist in both adult and children’s services in both private, public health and Health and social Care settings.
She has worked in a wide variety of locations, and most recently as Head of Services (children's) in Gloucester and in acute hospitals, community hospitals, community home visits, clinics and schools. Conditions that she has worked with include stroke, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, hypoxic and traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, palliative care, rheumatology, amputee’s and spinal injuries.
She has extensive experience in major and minor adaptations, designing and overseeing ground floor extensions to enable adults/children access to their essential facilities under the Disabled Facilities Grant.
Jo also has experience of working with children and young adults with ADHA and autism. Jo specialises in minor and major housing adaptions, moving and handling and functional rehab for both adults and children.
