Qualifying in 2010, Emma is a skilled Occupational Therapist specialising in Housing and Equipment and Moving and Handling. She provides expert assessments and interventions for both adults and children across the West Midlands, North West England, North and Mid Wales, and East Midlands. Emma has extensive experience working with diverse client groups, including those with Autism, Developmental Delay, Behaviour that Challenges, Cerebral Palsy, Genetic Disabilities, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Functional Neurological Disorder, and other physical disabilities.
Emma excels in advising on specialist equipment and complex home adaptations to enhance independence and safety. Her expertise includes posture management and manual handling assessments for seating, hoists, and slings. She is skilled in supporting children with challenging behaviours, offering tailored solutions that ensure safety while remaining least restrictive. Committed to promoting independence, she focuses on identifying and addressing functional difficulties within the home environment.
In addition to her clinical work, Emma has held leadership roles and earned a Master’s degree with distinction in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care from Coventry University in 2020. As a registered HCPC Occupational Therapist and a Justice of the Peace, she continually engages in professional development activities to ensure her clients receive the most effective, evidence-based interventions.
