Offering specialist occupational therapy services across Kent and the South East of England, Julia is a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in working with children from infancy through school age. She specialises in a wide range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down's Syndrome, Chromosome Syndromes, Cerebral Palsy, and Muscular Dystrophy. Julia is also highly skilled in addressing Sensory Integration Difficulties, Gross and Fine Motor Skill Challenges, Handwriting, Visual Perception, Balance, and Coordination, as well as self-care tasks.

After qualifying in 2015, Julia began her career working closely with babies and pre-school-aged children, before transitioning to working with school-aged children. She has also undertaken specialised training in Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (Co-Op), an evidence-based approach that supports children and adults in building confidence and skills to complete daily tasks.

Julia’s work extends beyond direct therapy, as she actively supports parents and school staff in understanding and managing sensory processing difficulties. Through tailored guidance and strategies, she helps improve outcomes for children both at home and in school. She also conducts assessments in primary, secondary, and SEN schools, as well as home-based assessments to support Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Julia is HCPC registered and is also a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), including the Children, Young People & Families, and Independent Practice specialist sections.

Julia is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
