Laura

Laura is based in North Manchester and covers Bolton, Bury, Wigan, Ramsbottom, Prestwich and surrounding areas. Expert in rheumatology and hand therapy, Laura is a very experienced functional rehabilitation expert OT in pre and post op settings. Laura has worked in residential rehabilitation, conducting home visits, personal care, and domestic ADL assessments, cognitive assessments, and equipment assessments with ordering. Laura is skilled with splinting, clinical and risk assessment, activities of daily living, moving and handling, fatigue management, anxiety management and cognitive rehabilitation. Laura has experience with mobility and transfers assessments, and has worked in neuro and medical rehabilitation on rotations as a Senior Occupational Therapist. As a trained complaints investigator, involved in CAAS she conducts complex audits including IPC and documentation, and presents outcomes to senior management. Caring and diligent, Laura, as an for The OT Practice associate, assesses clients in their own homes and provides occupational therapy in order to maximise their independence and enhance daily living.
