Based in Bristol, Abi is an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years experience in the NHS. Abi has a particular interest in stroke rehabilitation and cancer care, and believes in providing holistic interventions to enable independence and person-centred rehabilitation. Abi is adept at drawing from her experience with stroke, cancer and dementia care in Cardiff and Swansea to provide specialist plans for rehabilitation spaces. This includes how to maximise functional rehabilitation and the use and handling of equipment in the home and/or dedicated therapy area. Abi has helped a range of clients from very young children to the elderly. She also supports and assesses those with conditions such as fatigue, anxiety, pain and posture, TBI, Trauma and orthopaedics after-surgery care, and upper limb . Abi has wide experience from rotations at the Bristol Royal Infirmary with managing intensive care rehabilitation for individuals who benefit from routine planning, daily living skills, gross and fine motor skills, visual perception, balance, coordination, and self care strategies.
