Jane

Jane has over 20 years' experience as an OT across Scotland, NW and NE England. With clinical experience in a variety of settings for Adult Social Care, clients benefit from her skills with functional assessments and the occupational therapy process, her moving and handling, proportionate care, and specialist seating advice. In addition to these specialisms, Jane has worked with private practice clients to maximise their independence when using equipment and adaptations, assistive technology, rehabilitation, telecare postural management, and when diagnosing for risk enablement, physical disabilities, neurological disorders, and mental health eating disorders. Jane has experience in several Adult Social Care environments including palliative and elderly care. Jane is passionate about empowering individuals to find creative and personalised solutions in their homes and setting goals for a supportive recovery and wellbeing outcomes. Jane is a patient, empathetic, proactive and sensitive OT in her approach.
