Azade

Azade is a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in Sensory Integration. Based in London, she delivers expert care to children in and around the city, working with conditions such as Developmental Coordination Disorder, Autism, Attention Deficits, and Motor Skill difficulties. Her practice emphasises collaboration with doctors, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive support.

Azade qualified as an Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor’s in Health Science in 2015. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in rehabilitation centers and private practices across the United Kingdom and Turkey. Azade is highly skilled in interventions for children with various developmental challenges and her specialisms include Sensory Integration difficulties, Gross and Fine Motor skills, Dexterity and Handwriting difficulties, Visual Perception, Balance and Coordination, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Her approach includes working within multidisciplinary teams, often collaborating with other healthcare professionals and educators to create holistic care plans.

Throughout her career, Azade has consistently enhanced her skills through practical experience, continuous learning, and specialised training, including the completion of all modules in Collaborative for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration (CLASI). She also has a keen interest in Floortime/DIR, a relationship-based therapy for children on the autism spectrum.

As a member of the Health Care Professions Council, Azade actively maintains her continuing professional development. Her high level of clinical reasoning and expertise is invaluable when assessing and treating children with complex needs, and she regularly provides expert opinions to other professionals, clients, and families.
