Occupational Therapist Rosina lives in Dunstable and travels to work around Bedfordshire covering Milton Keynes, Luton, Bicester, Silverstone, Bedford, Watford and Stevenage. She specialises in Functional and Vocational Rehabilitation and has worked with conditions in adults such as Autism, Anxiety, Depression and Learning Difficulties. She completes sensory assessments, and works with clients on Activities of Daily Living.
Rosina works holistically to help clients achieve personalised goals and reach their optimum level of Function. Through her intervention, she facilitates early discharge and promotes independence and recovery. Throughout her experience working with Learning Difficulties, she undertook sensory assessments and completed a course on how the brain processes sensory information and how Occupational Therapy helps to manage sensory issues and high levels of frustration. Rosina helps those with high levels of Anxiety to regain confidence and engage in the local community, supporting them to return to work. She also works on routine.
Rosina has worked in senior roles and has accordingly managed large OT case loads and prioritised service users based on their individual needs. The role included completing thorough assessments and meetings with other professionals to determine the best course of action for clients. She has also been involved in service development projects, including strategies to minimise waiting times and develop a welcoming, warm and therapeutic environment for patients attending hospital appointments.
Rosina is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
