Shivangi

Shivangi is a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist based in Orpington, South-East London. Utilising her extensive experience, gained through her work within the community, Shivangi provides holistic assessments and expert interventions to children of all ages across London and Kent. She has expertise in autistic spectrum disorders, developmental coordination disorder, sensory integration, behavioural challenges, and ADHD.

Shivangi is trained in delivering evidenced based interventions such as cognitive orientation to occupational performance, zones of regulation, interception intervention, The Alert Programme, Sensory Processing (neurosciences and fundamentals), and Bobath (early assessment & intervention with babies and young children). She has also successfully completed Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (Module 2) to diagnose children with autism spectrum disorder.

Shivangi set up clear functional goals in consultation with parents/teachers, demonstrating sound clinical reasoning and involving the use of therapeutic activities and approaches which are meaningful and appropriate. She is also experienced in providing relevant training including sensory workshops, how to manage child's sensory needs at home and school, motor planning and organisational skills, and fine and gross motor skills.
