Marta

Marta is an Occupational Therapist who specialises in Neurological Rehabilitation, utilising her expertise to support adult clients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other cognitive and neurological conditions. She is based in Camberley and visits clients across Surrey, Hampshire, and Berkshire.

With over 15 years of experience working with neurological conditions in different settings in Portugal and the UK, Marta has developed strong clinical reasoning and has a great capacity to tailor rehabilitation plans to the client's needs. She has a solid knowledge of physical handling and upper limb rehabilitation being an advocate of the Bobath concept. In the last few years, Marta has developed her interest on robotics and she is experienced using different interfaces for upper limb rehabilitation such as Hocoma Armeo Spring, Mind Motion Go and GripAble. Marta also has vast experience with equipment recommendations and family and carers education about manual handling.

Marta is a very committed, caring, and professional OT and is extremely focused on providing the highest standard of care to her clients. She is passionate about supporting her clients to maximise their potential through activities that matter the most to them and help them to live independently for as long as possible.
