Alice is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist based in County Down and visits children and their families across Northern Ireland including Antrim, Tyrone, and Belfast. She has worked in the profession for over a decade, developing expertise on a variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, autism, developmental coordination disorder, dyspraxia, sensory processing difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Alice carries out comprehensive assessments and supports children with fine and gross motor skills, functional skills, activities of daily living skills, handwriting/assistive technology, sensory processing, and seating provisions. She has undertaken training in The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) to supplement her extensive experience with many other assessment tools and treatment approaches.
Alice has a particular interest in the assessment of children with significant motor skills difficulties such as DCD and her aim is to support these children, their families, and the important people in their lives to develop and reach their goals. She is passionate about delivering expert care to children and their families, supporting them to maximise their potential and meet their personal goals. Working within private practice, Alice utilises her vast experience working with children with a wide variety of physical disabilities as well as sensory difficulties and learning disabilities.
