Katy

Katy is a specialist Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience working in both the private sector and NHS. She has had a passion for working with neurological, long-term and complex medical conditions including brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, and spinal injury. Katy is based in Fareham, covering a large client base across Hampshire, West Sussex, and Dorset.

Katy has always seized every opportunity to enhance her understanding of Neurological Rehabilitation including postural management, cognitive intervention, splinting, hand therapy, upper limb rehab and psychological needs. She enjoys providing high quality and multifaceted care, considering the client’s emotional, social and physical needs. She seeks to optimise a clients’ function with goals meaningful to them and tailors treatment to their individual needs.

Working as an Associate, Katy utilises her passion for supporting clients with neurological conditions including traumatic brain injuries, stroke and other complex needs. She is confident assessing clients with complex deficits in neurological or long-term medical conditions and proficient using a variety of assessment tools, both standardised and non-standardised. She can devise individualised and tailored treatment plans that are supported by sound clinical reasoning.
