Lee is a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Lee has been a qualified Occupational Therapist for over 10 years and specialises in Housing & Equipment with a particular focus on DFGs, major and minor adaptations, and community rehabilitation. He supports clients across Yorkshire including Bradford, Derby, Leeds, and Sheffield and is particularly experienced helping those with physical conditions such as arthritis, fractures, and joint replacements.
Lee is passionate about working with adults, helping them to reach their maximum potential through rehabilitation techniques and equipment/adaptation solutions. Having qualified from York St John University and worked in both acute hospital and community settings with adults, he chose to specialise in community assessments, mainly around adaptations/equipment working within DFG legislation.
Alongside his work as a private practitioner, Lee is a team leader for an award-winning adaptations service, supporting and leading Occupational Therapists and support staff, whilst holding a clinical caseload. Lee has played an important role in developing effective new policies; creating new training methods and adapting processes. He recently received a 'commendation for excellence' award in the category for outstanding achievement at the National Healthy Housing Awards.
