Based to the west of Glasgow in Renfrewshire, Nikki delivers expert care to clients across Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, and East Dunbartonshire. Nikki has been an Occupational Therapist for over 25 years, working for most of her career in the field of Paediatrics. She started out in acute settings but for the past 20 years has worked in a variety of community settings within Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Throughout her time working in Paediatrics, Nikki has gained the skills to work with a wide range of children and young people, whether at home or school/nursery. She has developed expertise on a wide range of conditions including global developmental delay, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, hypermobility, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. She supports and offers the appropriate assessment, treatment, and intervention at the right time to help them participate and function in their day-to-day activities.
With over two decades of experience in Occupational Therapy, Nikki offers a wealth of knowledge and skill to her private clients. She has a passion for working with children and their families, to provide functional and meaningful client-centred interventions. Nikki also enjoys supporting and mentoring Occupational Therapy students and junior members of staff, sharing her specialist clinical reasoning skills and knowledge in this field.
