Rhumana

Rhumana has over 10 years’ experience working as a specialist Occupational Therapist and has gained invaluable knowledge and skills in a wide range of fields. She utilises her understanding of a variety of physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions including cerebral palsy, orthopaedics and trauma, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, oncology, stroke, amputations, anxiety disorder, and depression. Rhumana is based in Leicester and visits clients across the Midlands.

Rhumana takes time to understand the client’s individual needs and how they impact function on a daily basis. She is experienced in delivering comprehensive functional assessments and excellent report writing. She is a qualified Disability Assessor and has worked in roles where Occupational Therapy values, philosophy and skills can be maximised. Rhumana has developed expertise in risk assessments, moving and handling, minor and major adaptations/equipment, hospice and palliative diagnosis and care, daily living skills, and self-care.

Rhumana is dedicated to her professional development and actively goes the extra mile to enhance her competencies and promote Occupational Therapy. She was awarded the ‘John Curtis’ award whilst at university for all her hard work and achievements obtained on the Occupational Therapy.
