Josie

Specialising in Housing & Equipment, Josie is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for ensuring individuals live full independent lives, regardless of their disability and works closely with her clients to achieve their goals. She is based in Essex, near Basildon and Southend-on-Sea, and visits clients across the South East of England. Josie has experience supporting clients with dementia, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, learning disabilities, motor neurone disease, stroke, and arthritis.

Josie has a particular interest in specialist equipment and manual handling, drawing on her experience working in adult social care. Josie provides comprehensive written assessments, equipment recommendations, minor adaptations, major adaptations, parking concessions, DFG assessments, housing assessments, and manual handling risk assessments. She strives to allow individuals to live as independently as they can within their own home and community.

She has also turned to developing her skills within Paediatrics, building on her existing experience providing housing and equipment recommendations for children with long-term physical and neurological conditions.
