Gillian is based just outside of Glasgow in Wishaw and visits clients across Lanarkshire, North Ayrshire, and West Lothian. She has over 25 years’ experience in Occupational Therapy and specialises in the field of Neurological Rehabilitation. She works with adults with spinal cord injuries, traumatic and acquired brain injury including complex stroke, and has a particular interest and clinical skills in prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC), visual perception, and hand therapy.

Gillian has gained experience working in variety of sectors including in a specialist rehabilitation unit. She can support clients with a wide range of functional and cognitive needs such as fatigue management, routine planning, activities of daily living, splinting, sensory awareness, and behaviour management.

Gillian is an active member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy and their Specialist Section for Neurological Practice, she takes part in the Scottish West Committee and recently participated in an Advancing Practice in Brain Injury scoping event. Gillian continues to develop her knowledge, skills, and competencies through clinical experience, attendance at specialist training courses, and personal learning.
