Rebecca

Located in Leeds, Rebecca visits clients across the North West of England including Sheffield, Wakefield, and York. She specialises in Functional Rehabilitation, delivering comprehensive assessments and interventions for clients with a variety of conditions. Rebecca predominantly works with adults following a traumatic injury or acute illness, but also has experience with neurological conditions including brain injury and complex mental health difficulties. Rebecca also works with older adults, supporting with falls management, trauma and orthopaedics, general medicine, and chronic and long-term conditions.

Rebecca has worked in a wide variety of rehabilitation settings including in long-term neuro-rehabilitation. She worked with clients who had sustained a brain injury but also had complex and concurrent mental health difficulties. Rebecca also worked in an acute mental health working with females who experienced mental illness. Both roles gave Rebecca valuable experience in assessing cognition and interpersonal skills. Rebecca delivers comprehensive assessments of a client’s function, creating tailored rehabilitation programmes, complex discharge planning, and multi-disciplinary working.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has developed her competencies through practical experience, supervision, maintaining CPD, and training. This has enabled her to develop strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills when working with clients, professionals, and family members. Rebecca is also a member of the Specialist Section for Independent Practice at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
