Shira

Trained in Sensory Integration techniques, Shira helps families by treating children at home and school. Shira is one of our Paediatric OTs based in London, offering specialist assessments and treatments for children with a wide range of needs. This includes challenges with gross and fine motor skills, handwriting, visual perception, balance and coordination, and postural management.

Shira works with children to develop creative and bespoke therapy plans, focusing on self-care skills such as dressing and washing, organisation and planning skills, and confidence building. Shira aims to help every child meet their full potential, building the strength and coordination to undertake physical activities and independent play. She also specialises in fine motor skills such as handwriting, helping a child to strengthen hand muscles and improve dexterity. Shira also helps to develop a child’s social interaction skills, supporting them to build friendships and access community activities.

Shira is also experienced providing wheelchair assessments, supporting children and their families decide on the best option to suit their mobility and comfort needs.
