Tina is a highly experienced Paediatric OT, working with children and their families for over 20 years. Specialising in Sensory Integration, Tina offers varying approaches to treatment, including sensory-motor, perceptual-motor, functional, and cognitive. She has worked with children with many different conditions including, autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, and developmental delay. Tina aims to deliver assessments and treatment to enhance independence and confidence, in home and school environments.

Tina focuses on developing a child’s gross motor skills, evaluating their level of independence and ability to take part in physical activities. Her aim is to enhance body awareness, coordination, and balance, to maximise a child’s potential. Tina also considers a child’s fine motor skills, the ability to undertake small movements using the hands and fingers such as tying shoelaces or using scissors. Tina can conduct handwriting assessments, looking at a child’s hand strength, dexterity, and comfort when completing writing activities. From this, Tina aims to recommend treatments or aids to support a child’s handwriting ability.

Tina is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the Sensory Integration Network.

Tina is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
