Joanne

Joanne is an expert Occupational Therapist specialising in neurological conditions and rehabilitation. Based in London, Joanne covers a wide client base across the city, delivering assessments and treatments. Joanne’s career has been focused on acquired brain injury and progressive neurological conditions, including stroke, motor neurone disease, and multiple sclerosis.

Joanne aims to enhance a client’s quality of life, through physical rehabilitation to improve mobility and coordination, fatigue management, motivation and goal setting, and routine planning. Joanne is focused on maximising a client’s independence at home, helping them to conduct daily self-care and domestic tasks, such as washing, cooking, and cleaning. She is also driven to ensure that a client’s maintains access to the community and can safely leave the home environment.

Joanne is a member of the Neurological Practice section of The Royal College of Occupational Therapists. She is committed to her continual professional development, undertaking further training in Hand Therapy and Bobath.
