Catherina visits clients in Essex and East London, providing Functional Rehabilitation to maximise a client’s independence at home. Practicing as an OT for over 10 years, Catherina is very experienced and has worked with a broad range of conditions. In particular, she has worked extensively with post-surgical rehabilitation and lower-limb amputees, supporting them to regain and maintain independence and mobility.
Catherina offers holistic therapy, considering a client’s physical, cognitive, and neurological conditions. Her aim is to offer practical strategies to overcome daily challenges, such as washing and dressing, cooking and cleaning. Catherina wants to ensure that a client is confident at home and has the relevant support they require. This includes working on a client’s physical challenges, concentrating on fine and gross-motor skills, strength, balance, and coordination.
Catherina is also highly skilled in working with elderly clients, covering complex manual handling, activities of daily living, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Her main aim is to help a client stay in their own home for as long as possible.
Catherina is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
