Ruth is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, specialising in Functional Rehab, Housing & Equipment, and Moving & Handling. Ruth is located in Whitstable, Kent, visiting clients across the county and the South East. She has been practising as an OT for over 20 years, offering comprehensive assessments and tailored treatments designed around each client’s individual needs. Ruth has helped clients with a wide range of conditions, whether recovering from a traumatic injury or adjusting to life with a long-term impairment.

Ruth provides recommendations on suitable housing adaptations, both minor and major, as well as equipment provisions designed to aid a client’s independence at home. She considers a client’s individual circumstances and goals and makes recommendations based on their current situation as well as their longer-term needs. Ruth has worked with clients with a range of temporary disabilities and long-term conditions including stroke and dementia.

Ruth is a member of The Royal College of Occupational Therapists and has experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in order to deliver outstanding assessment and treatment.
