For years our OTs have been asking us to help them find suppliers when making recommendations, and for years the companies that supply products and services to OTs have been asking us how they can reach our OTs...

We have created a platform exclusively for our network of over 250 OTs to enable them to easily access organisations that supply products and services that are recommended by Occupational Therapists. The Supplier Directory is integrated into our case workflow and report writing system, providing our therapists with the information they need at their fingertips, exactly when they need it.

As a private healthcare provider our independent OTs have the freedom of choice and we want to offer our clients high quality products and services that represents a breadth of choice to meet the needs and means of all our clients.

How it works

The directory is integrated into the resources section of Practice Plus our bespoke system, which our therapists use to manage all aspects of their case workflow, as well as where we share regular news updates, information and guidance, providing an essential tool for communicating with our team across the UK.

Supplier Directory Home

Suppliers can join the directory and be listed based on an annual subscription fee. This will entitle them to a standard listing on the directory where they will be placed into categories according to the products and services they offer.

Our therapists are a community who value the opinions of their peers, so we have included the ability for them to rate and review the products and service they receive from suppliers they use.

In the interest of transparency and knowing the importance of feedback, we will periodically share ratings/comments received. Our OTs know what they write will be shared with the supplier to help ensure all comments are fair and justifiable.

In addition to standard listing subscriptions there are feature subscriptions, which highlight listings in promotional spots on the directory home page and search index pages for additional exposure.

Provide order information

Before we can send you an order form we will need some details... when you want your subscription to start from, the primary contact for the order including phone and email, the billing address and any additional billing contacts to include.

Complete order form & listing information

When we have the details we need, we will send you a completed order form for you to sign and return, including a PO number if required. We will also send a Listing Information form for you to complete and return at the same time. This is be what is displayed on the listing.

Order acceptance & invoice

We will then review the order form and listing information and reply with confirmation that the listing has been accepted. Once formally accepted we will then send you an invoice for payment within 30 days.

Your listing

Our therapists will access listings either by selecting a category or alphabetically by the supplier’s company name. Information that is included as part of the listing is:

  • A primary contact with phone and email address
  • A link to your website
  • A succinct introduction shown on index pages
  • A description of your products/services
  • Reseller and how to purchase information
  • Installation and rep visits information if needed

How to subscribe

Simply call the team on 0330 024 9910 or email supplierdirectory@theotpractice.co.uk and request an order form, stating when you would like your subscription to run from. You will then submit your order form together with your listing details form, which will be reviewed and we will contact you to confirm whether your listing has been accepted, and if so, you will receive an invoice.

Feature listings are on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 10 active feature subscriptions live at one time. Please enquire for availability and scheduling options.

Please note only suitably established organisations that can demonstrate they are able to deliver a high-quality professional service will be included on the directory and this will be decided entirely at our discretion.

Terms

Full terms and conditions will be provided with the order form. Contract formation is on written confirmation of order acceptance.
